How Psychotherapy Works?
Psychotherapy is two-way cooperation based on the relationship between an individual and a therapist or a counsellor. Psychotherapy is a process build in dialogue and trust. The therapy provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone non-judgmental, impartial, and objective. As your counselor, you and I will work together to recognize and change the thought, emotion, and behavior patterns that keep you from feeling and being your best. By the time you’re done, you will not only have worked and eradicate the problem that brought you in, but you will have acquired new understandings and skills so you can better handle future challenges.
There are multiple approaches to psychotherapy. Each academic perspective acts as a roadmap to help the therapist to understand their client’s problems and develop solutions.
In my practice, I use Psychodynamic Counselling, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Neuro-Linguistics methodologies. Based on the client’s needs and current situation, I blend elements from different approaches and customize their therapy accordingly for achieving ultimate results.
